India is a popular destination for travelers from Brighton looking for a low cost holiday or / and a a culturally and spiritually enriching experience. Sometimes its a business trip. All too often the relationship is defined in terms of "India needs the money and we need cheap goods and services." This is a shallow and implicitly exploitative model of cultural exchange that doesn't address our common humanity. Healthy Concerts Brighton is developing a different model of cultural exchange with India, one founded on making a deeper commitment to the lives we touch; to the people, their communities and the Earth. We are going to do this though our Eco Village, Eco Shiva.
