We have a team, including entire families, ready to host Eco Shiva visitors, whether project volunteers, consultants or Eco-holiday makers There is a reception team in four locations and much work has been done on the actual site in recent months to prepare it for visitors. I hope to send you pictures very soon.

Healthy Concerts has by its nature extended an invitation to share resources and talents in order to enrich community from a giving heart. This has brought people of diverse backgrounds together, nurturing new friendships and reducing isolation and separation. Eco Shiva is a project of this nature, the emergence of a new agenda for cultural exchange. The starting point may be Eco Tourism or Eco Village but the heart of the matter is a vision of community that doesn't stop at borders and deepens relationships; person to person, person to environment, person to nature, person to plants and animals... ensuring that we are giving as much as we are receiving.

What could be a better project for Healthy Concerts to promote than Home Build Holidays? What emerges from the concept is a home owned (paid for) by one person but built and lived in by a community. Everyone benefits.

Anyone can build his or her own home in less than one month; your own personally designed eco-house made with the help of a team of traditional craftsmen and women from local villages in the Shivalik Hills. Whether on your own as an independent traveler, or with a partner and family, you will work together with warm hearted village people to create a home beyond your wildest dreams. An Eco Shiva home is not a holiday home. We are committed to creating genuine community homes that are lived in and cared for all the year round. Your home will be there for you whenever you or your family come to India. When you are not there the woman and children of the villages will grace your home with reading and writing studies, arts and crafts... and huddle around a warm fire on cold nights.
