Profile
Andi Langford-Woods can be seen mostly backstage organising tours and events. Her natural aptitude for negotiating her way thru' the dark worlds of roadies, tantrum throwing starlets, faulty equipment and endless motorways is always inherent in her humour.Living and working in a world of music for 20 years has earned her the reputation of Mother Hen (S.America)- Princess Warrior (W.Java) and Sister Andi (Asia) as well as a few less savoury comments from those she has left at the Rest-stop ( on purpose..) Recently has been instrumental in the regeneration of Bristols longest running open-mic sessions Acoustic Night, which has blossomed into a packed house every fortnight.Front-stage, her poetry covers pivotal points in her life, emotionally and physically, spiritually and sexually, as well as taking an observant view of the lives of others, sometimes humourous, sometimes painful. Committed to the philosophy of spontaneous hedonism and a fully qualified member of Growing Old Disgracefully,
