Bob is a student of comedy, and has developed a standup comedy act with themes drawn from his own experience, the result of which is a wry look at contemporary life in Brighton, Britain and the world. Bob did some drama while at university, has studied comedy imrovisation and has performed standup comedy.

The comedy is drawn from social observation and also involves strong characterization. The aim is to make people think as well as laugh, and perhaps also to spark a sense of recognition about the social world which we all inhabit.
