The perfect platform
How to turn your home into a music venue
If it's your first home concert, seek advice: see www.healthyconcerts.com.
Almost any room should work, but a space 20ft by 15ft could hold up to 35 on chairs and cushions - or use the garden.
Know what style of concert you're after. The website lists available musicians, including reviews.
Read before choosing, and remember some are amateurs.
Dishonesty is rare, but it's sensible to lock away valuables.
When listing your event on the Healthy Concerts website, always declare any pets: some people suffer allergies.
Don't publish your full address. Tell people as they book by phone or email.
