Profile
Harmony has been playing the flute since she was a little child, growing up in Liverpool. She trained as a classical musician, playing in local orchestras and festivals, including studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and Cambridge University (Gonville and Caius College). However, she came to the decision that the life of a classical musician was not for her, and left her classical studies to explore other types of music. In 2006, she travelled India with world music group “Free the Love”, playing various styles of music such as Gypsy, Latin, Reggae, Israeli, Irish and Scottish. As well as the flute, she plays violin, piano and guitar and has recently begun to sing. She is a keen poet and, since learning to play the guitar, has found that many of her poems are beginning to evolve into songs! Her music has many influences including her Classical background, Celtic music, Indian music, Arabic music and free jazz.
