A gold medal winner of the Guildhall school of music, James plays piano, violin, tin whistle & mandolin, likes classical and folk music. He performs with the Balanescu quartet and pianist Peter Lapham (picture right). James lives in Brighton with his wife Pauline where he divides his time between composing, practising and tending his 3 allotments.
