After a career with the BBC I'm now branching out into the world of acting and performance. Recent work has included acting in a workshop for Mature Marketing, the Bristol Arts Trade Centre and The Ambling Band. I am also part of a team called "Say it Loud", who are organising theatre and poetry to celebrate "Abolition 200" and am working with MIND helping by running a theatre workshop and one of their "Healthy Concerts". I'm an enthusiastic participant in the Hotwells Panto who recently completed their very successful version of Sleeping Beauty (Recycled). I worked for Radio 4 in Manchester as a reporter, researcher and occasional producer for the Sunday Programme and The Message. Before that I freelanced in newsrooms for Granada and Radio Wales. I started out with BBC GMR now Radio Manchester. My earlier life was dominated by a career in industry. I am a Chartered Accountant and have lived and worked in the USA, Holland and Peru. As a young man I was also much involved in the world of politics and in 1974 was twice a parliamentary candidate. Husband of Suzanne, Father of Mandy, Vicki, David and George. Grandfather of Ben, Jamie, Molly, Freya, Samuel and Audrey. Tranmere Rovers fan.
