The founder of Healthy Concerts, singer-songwriter, improvisation artist and piano tuner.

(Thinking of an artist I admire) Glenn Gould dedicated over 15 years to making musical and other recordings with the support of the professional music and film industry of his time. These days most artists are expected to record and promote themselves using widely available music software and the internet. These homemade productions are of variable quality, depending upon the expertise of the artists (would be technicians). I am not happy with any of my music recordings to date, and do not wish to spend the rest of my life struggling to be a first class recording engineer. Therefore I have decided to abandon the recording path completely.
In addition, most of my song output is completely improvised and you have to be there in the moment to fully appreciate the work. Latterly I have even been deconstructing my song compositions such that new melodies are created in each song performance. This means, arguably, that the songs can not be faithfully recorded at all in any situation because they are essentially evolving works that can not be fixed in form or time.

FREE PIANO TUNING
Who for? A player who cant afford to pay a professional tuner. A player with a piano in good working order - just needs a tuning. A person who can cover my travel expenses from Kemptown, Brighton.
Who am I? A musician and piano tuner with no formal qualifications. I have enjoyed piano tuning for over 10 years and have tuned four grand pianos regularly. These instruments are used for semi-professional recordings and recitals. One of my clients is a professional classical musician. I do not tune to a theoretical equal temperament (for those of you who know what that means). My approach to tuning is influenced by discoveries I have made related to JS Bach. HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT GIG
Paul Chi, as the special guest of Manickam Yogeswaran, performed his Peace on Earth and Feel the Colour songs at the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 12 October 2005. This event, a CD launch concert for Yoga`s Peace for Paridise album was, the musicians were informed, unprecedented in the history of Parliament. Quite a gig! See www.yogeswaran.com
