"Kadialy Kouyate played in Maldon , Essex last night. My first experience of live kora, beautiful music from a performer with true presence, goes straight to the heart." - author Jennifer

"never come across these dudes before so very pleasantly suprised to find music that does something and is actually going somewhere. Very unassuming, very together and very beautiful. Can\'t really say why it moved me other than it felt safe. Such a good vibe. " - author dimitri cazouls

"Sam Shara can really sing, I mean really. Forget the mp3, myspace, artist profile... Come, hear and see this truly magnificent artist. It will blow your mind... it did ours! " - author Paul Chi

Ben Solomon Ben Solomon [review]
"Ben is a reservoir of talent so full every time I hear his work or see him perform I can feel that reservoir pushing at the dam that contains it. It is tough, sometimes in Healthy Concerts (even in public concerts like the wonderful occasion of hearing Ben play a great grand piano live in the beautiful surroundings of Friend\'s Meeting House) to contemplate that because the music \"business\" is so monistic, driven by large organisations that the most talented have to struggle. I fervently hope that social change will grow rapidly to the point that local economies can support local produce including fine music which is food for the soul. Let\'s keep supporting Ben in every way we can - his CD is one of the most played in my collection and on air. He always takes me to special places in myself and we are fortunate to have him here at hand." - author Louis Loizou

"I am the person i always was sad about somethings and happy about others.. My poetry is about all sorts of topics.. not just the awkward or difficult parts of my life.. get in touch with me in the ways that you know .. Pink roses for love is my latest poem " - author

"I agree with Gordon Winter, a fine concert by Ben, one of the best. We were treated to an eccentric and wonderful performance, as befits this genius of musical composition. I think everyone there was equally impressed. Ben`s music can bring so much joy into people`s lives, so it is vital that the work is published and distributed widely... asap!" - author Paul Chi

"I saw local classical composer, Ben Solomon, playing his own piano compositions at Friends Meeting House. It was magic. His charisma draws you in and leads you on an emotional journey. There are touches of Keith Jarrett, Liszt, Satie and Rachmaninov. His CD \'Mad Hatter Days\' is beautiful, accessible music, the outpouring of his heart.
You can hear some of his work online at myspace.com/bensolomon.
He was supported by the lovely Magdalena Reising on Celtic harp and singing. Her jazz CD \'Blue Cafe\' oozes smooth sophistication.
Ben Solomon\'s next concert of his original piano compositions is on Wednesday 9th April at 12.30pm in the athmospheric St Nicholas Church, Dyke Rd, Brighton. This lunchtime concert is free!" - author Gordon Winter

"s.t. stepped into the box where he moves to disappear
There he was as simple as a single cell where everything
is forgotten but nothing is lost.
Only then did the 26 histories of the human heart reveal
themself to the unloved so they too could become _l o v e_

such was the stupendous beginning of a heartfelt performance" - author Jo Mildyn

Richard Pollott Richard Pollott [review]
"I saw and heard Richard Lewis for the first time this Sunday 1st July at Paul Chi`s celebration of being to breathe more easily. Paul said to me ``wait until you hear this guy sing!``
I was not disappointed, either by the Concert or by Richard`s performance, which was not only impeccable musically, but truly moved me. You know that feeling that music gives you, that warm, loving, glad to be alive, gooday sunshine, it`s all worth it feeling. That`s what you did for me Richard, and thank you.
You can buy his CD online, and although no recording can do a voice as dynamic as Richard`s justice, listen to it, and also, if you are in the reception area for RadioReverb I will be playing one track from his album on the Sean Creed show ``Brighton Phlux`` today, Wednesday 4th July between 1 and 2pm (97.2 FM if in or around Brighton or www.radiorever.com online if elsewhere).
He is young, yet has a maturity, range and dynamic that is positively thrilling, and he deserves to be known on a wide scale. Keep it up Richard, and please guard your talent and musical integrity against the commercial attention that will inevitably come your way. I wish music were not a business, but you deserve to be signed and to be successful on a much larger scale. I am listening to your second CD as I write this, and I plan to play track (9) ``The Great Unknown`` today.
Visit his sites, see him live. If you have a heart, he will move you with his exceptional voice, brilliant piano playing and great guitar backed by Andy on Bass and Andy on vocal beatbox." - author Louis Loizou

Alex Miniatti Alex Miniatti [review]
"I know Alex personally and having listened to these tracks I know that he is singing from his heart, and that people should give this guy a chance in life,as up to now all he has known is sadness." - author claire wyatt

"music which was new to me yet instantly accessible, a language I do not speak yet the words reached my heart and a level of musicianship which took my breath away. I am so glad I was able to enjoy your beautiful music in the intimate Hexagon at the MAC but I know you can reach a huge global audience, please do not desert the small venues where ordinary people can enjoy your gifts. I have taken your message of sociability to heart." - author christine vaughan

Alan Mars Alan Mars [review]
"One of the most entertaining nights I\'ve had for a long time! Alan immediately puts the audience at ease as he commands the show with wit and authority. He is very skilled at public performance. It was a delightful varied evening with guest participants such as Harriet,Robin,Fiona and Gordon-well done to you!We listened and learnt about the life and works of Rabbie Burns ,joined in with the banter and sang and danced ..First rate.Highly reccommended!" - author Magdalena Reisng

Linos Wengara Linos Wengara [review]
"One of the finest artists its been my priviledge to hear and see in the Healthy Concerts... in fact anywhere! We are not qualified to judge his Mbira playing or Shona lyricism, and yet there is that innate awareness of beauty and truth that leaves me in no doubt about the quality of this man`s outpouring. Linos gives a vivacious and dynamic performance that massages all the senses; an intoxicating blend of sounds, colours and rhythms that speak for our common humanity, and yet powerfully demonstrate what is sadly lacking in our materialistic and artificial culture. May the lesson be learned. Settle not for representational art and detachment from nature = the illusion of life at the flick of a switch. Let the authentic sound come from YOU" - author Paul Chi

Jake Cattell Jake Cattell [review]
"A very unusual talent, i`m sure you would agree... if you were there on Friday! There is a remarkable brevity and economy in the songwriting. Never have I heard such short songs! Never before have I seen an audience teased like that! More, more, more... that is what we all wanted and what we look forward to." - author Paul Chi

Xaxa Xaxa [review]
"Xaxa kept the audience interested with her beguiling presence and songs that draw you in... like dark chocolate! There is a lovely vibrato in her voice quite unlike anything I`ve heard before. I would go and hear her again, definately." - author Paul Chi
